Loving Frank: A Novel Loving Frank: A Novel by Nancy Horan

My review

rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book was recommended from Martini. It is the story of Frank Lloyd Wright and his mistress. I usually don't read historical fiction, but I absolutely LOVED this book. The ending is TOTALLY unexpected. I truly loved the author's style of writing.

Water for Elephants Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen

My review

rating: 4 of 5 stars
When Martini suggested this book, I thought... I trust her, but I don't think that is my type of book. Well, I finally gave in.

I love, love, loved this story of a depression-era circus. The main character is endearing, and the author's descriptions are fantastic.

The Memory Keeper's Daughter The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards

My review

rating: 4 of 5 stars
I devoured this book! I read it in one day. Not only is the book set in KY, but the story is great. A doctor delivers his own twins to find one has Down's syndrome. The author effectively switches from one point of view to another, which is hard I think.
