Shopping?

Christy and Kelly, the new Byassees, came over to Ryan's parents last night for supper and swimming. Christy invited me to go to Memphis with her today--- highlight of the trip Pottery Barn Outlet.

So, today I went shopping in Memphis with my work

friends from Parkway Regional. I miss all these girls so much: Christy Stubblefield, India, Cynthia, Emma, Theresa, and of course Christy (McCutchen) Byassee. The shopping excursion began EARLY...I drove past a cow sleeping in his pasture on my way to the hospital, and I swear he barely opened his eyes long enough to give me a dirty look. I was up before the cows! That never happens.

Well, we get to Memphis around 9:15.. guess what PB doesn't open till 10. India spots a Target, and we're off. I didn't get anything there. Not even the $4.34 white sandals that were so tempting. I'm saving up for PB.

We go to Pottery Barn. This is an outlet, and the only other one I went to was in South Carolina with Christine. We had 3 buggies full for like$50 that time. Christy Mc. B. is looking for bedding for her new marital bed. We find that for her, and its sooo pretty. I dig in this HUGE 70% off box, and don't come up with anything. I leave empty handed. No sack. nothing to show for my bargain hunting efforts today.

On the way home, Christy and I stop at Hooters. YUCK. My wings weren't even sauced, but we were in such a hurry there was no time to complain. She had a date w/ bootheel rodeo and had to leave at 3 pm. I think she made it.....and best of all..without a speeding ticket!
