I've been travelling a whole lot lately. I've been listening to alot of audiobooks in the car, on the plane, in the hotel, etc.
Here are some reviews from the last few books I "read".
Remember Me by Sophie Kinsella.
I generally am not a huge fan of Sophie Kinsella's books. However, this was a realy cute chick lit book. Lexi, the main character, has amnesia and is trying to rediscover her life. The last thing she remembers is 3 years ago.
Love the One You're Withby Emily Giffin.
I loved 2 other books I read of hers
Something Borrowed and Something Blue, however, this one did not do it for me. It's basically about happily married Ellen who runs into her exboyfriend Leo. This starts her down a path of "what if" regarding the "one who got away." I just really didn't enjoy it that much. Most of the book was what was going on internally in Ellen's head, and she wasn't a character I loved.
Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea by Chelsea Handler
OMG. So funny. I'm a big fan of her show Chelsea Lately on E! This book was hilarious. I do think I enjoyed it more in an audio format than I would have reading it. I will say this. After loving this book so much, I bought one of her comedy routines on Itunes for $1.99 and almost all of it was repetitive from the book. So if you are a fan of her stand-up, I'd skip the book. Also, for those of you with young eyes or ears at home...this is for adults only!
Now, I'm listening to My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult from a recommendation on this author from my friend Michelle's blog.
